Our ClosedLoop Scheme

How does our ClosedLoop Scheme work?

Our ClosedLoop scheme is a key part of our mission to become a net-zero business by 2050. It also supports our customers in achieving their own environmental goals, from waste reduction to carbon reporting. Here’s how it works:

1

It Starts on Site

Every ClosedLoop journey begins with our customers on site. Once our temporary protection materials or site signage have served their purpose, they don’t go to waste. Instead of heading to landfill, used materials are collected and returned to us.

2

Segregate It

Segregate Proplex from other waste upon uplift, removing non-recyclable waste and PVC tape. Consolidate in tonne bags, stack on pallets or roll and tape sheets. All Proplex, Correx and polypropylene sheets can be accepted.

3

We Take It Back

Our nationwide logistics network makes this simple and efficient. We work with contractors and site teams to ensure the return process is as smooth as possible, helping them meet their own sustainability targets in the process.

4

We Sift, Chop, Shred and Clean

Once the materials arrive back at our facility, they’re carefully sorted and inspected. Any reusable plastics are separated and prepared for remanufacturing. We handle all of this in-house, keeping full control of the process to maintain our high standards for quality and compliance.

5

Remanufactured Into New Products

The recycled material is processed and remanufactured into new high-quality protection products and site signage. These are the same durable, high-performance solutions our customers rely on – just with a lower carbon footprint.

This approach not only reduces the need for virgin plastic but also significantly cuts down on waste and emissions, all while supporting a circular economy.

6

Back on Site - Again

The final step? These newly remanufactured products are delivered back to site, ready to be used once more. It’s a true closed loop, helping our customers build more sustainably while meeting environmental targets without compromising on performance.
